My first post on the new site!
Feels kinda wierd, its like coming home to find out your wife has redecorated the entire house, I must have a little look around to see if I like her choice of decor and see if I can find all the furniture....
Thanks to those who have worked hard to get us here, I'm sure it will become a regular place to visit for most of us, and I note the heated discussions have started elsewhere on these boards!
I wont get involved in a tit- for -tat exchange, I'm just here cos I love the Farina and use this website because it will become invaluable to an A40 owner and a very important part of the club.

Heres to the new website !! - any negativity will be put in a special box marked "Where the sun dont shine"

Congrats to all on refreshed website. It will encourage me to wake up my Mk1 from its 2 year slumber. Out here in the West of Ireland, no contact with other members, so website has great possibilities.
Don't let negative people deflect you.

Dear Padraic, your comment (above) has considerably cheered me up regarding our Club's new website. I have always thought we needed an interactive site for members just like you, who will probably never get the chance to meet with other Club members in the flesh. Farina News is still the best way to create an archive snapshot of how the Club continues to tick but, for immediacy, nothing can beat dropping by on here if only for a general chat over things. I hope your old bird proves easy to wake up after her long sleep. Let us know how you get on - and some pictures would be great. Many years ago Bar & I toured your area in our old VW camper and I remember the spectacular sunsets, the Guinness, the empty roads and the friendliness of the folk.

While the sunsets and the Guinness are still the same, the roads are not empty any longer, however I hope the folk are still friendly!
