The BMC/BL Spares day/Rally in Ferry Meadows, Peterborough is usually a good day out. Lots of BMC cars - 1100/1300, Marinas, A35s plus MGs etc. Not sure I have seen A40s there, but they would obviously be welcome. I think it is on 6th August this year.

Thanks for that, Peter. Visit http://www.bmcblrally.co.uk/ for more info - and their warning of new parking charges in nearby car parks.

Bring Up My Post. Slang for when someone posts content that you like, you give it a "bump." It's another way of giving someone a nod, or a thumbs up, or a 5-star rating. It originally meant "increment" (for example, C's ++ operator) but it is best known as a backronym for "Bring Up My Post!"

I read and understood all the words Mike but right over my head. How about you Keith?

Well, thanks for the explanation Mike. I'm afraid Imaws!* here. My life is too busy to learn acronyms, never mind bacronyms. . .

I hope to be there on the 25th. What time should I aim to be there by? I don't want to miss anything! Brian

You're the boss but, yes, I think given the distance some folk may travel, that's a good arrival time. Not long now!

Just received a call from John Searsby in North Yorkshire, he plans to leave early. looks like there may be some interest. We plan to light up the BBQ so an idea of numbers will really help.
