Well, here's the car at the moment - sadly kicked out the garage for a few weeks whilst I use the garage / workshop for another project.

Needs a bit of wiring, interior refitted and I want to fit the new leaf springs that came with it, but it's kind of stalled for a while, but I'll get back to it some time. It's a 1098 fitted with a single 1 1/2" SU, alloy inlet and Maniflow/ RC40 system. I've had it running and it sounds good, but the ignition wiring is on the 'to do list'

Will take a photo of the new tank in place during the week.

...and would that "other project" be missing, by any chance, a huge chrome bumper carrying a 'B' reg plate?? Anyhoo, the A40 looks very sound, and thanks for sharing the photos. Particularly like the, um, go-faster teardrops on top of the front wings!
