getting together at events

Post04 Aug 2017 09:15

Below could be just as effective across other areas, it almost to late for this seasons shows but we need to think of next year.

A40 Club Eastern Region

The objective is to bring as many members of the eastern region together to enable them everyone to use the club.in a social and supportive manner

The major issue that makes this difficult being that members are spread across a very large area, this means that wherever we hold meetings it will be difficult for some members to attend.

We need to find a ways to involve as many members as possible that does not involve members traveling long distances for meetings

How can we make this work..

1/ use Facebook to maintain an ongoing and up to date flow of information between members

2/ use Facebook we co-ordinate members meetings at events and steam rallies this reduces traveling to meetings and combines meeting and a day out and improves the visibility of the club

3/ members meetings at a central location Scotty has offered the use of his workshop at Red Lodge near Newmarket) these would only take place 2 or 3 times a year due to the distance that most members would need to travel.

We can achieve this with the help and support of the eastern area members in the following ways.

Follow and post on the A40 club Eastern Region web page

Put forward events that we could attend during the show season.

Be willing to attend events with other club members and have a good day out
